Reading through this, and looking at the examples provided, will give you a clear idea of what work you will need to submit with your application. It’s a good idea to familiarise yourself with this first so that you allow yourself plenty of time to put together a great portfolio to impress us!

Book an interview:

The interview is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the course, to bring in your portfolio of artwork, take a tour of the school, and decide whether a career in animation is right for you.

To book an interview today, contact our marketing manager here.

If you can’t make an interview in person (e.g. if you are not living in Auckland), it’s no problem; we will organise a Skype or phone interview instead.

Complete an application form:

Once you have had your interview and been provisionally accepted into the course, you will need to provide the documentation listed on the second page of the Portfolio Information document to confirm your place on the course.

You can book a time to come in and meet with the Student Administrator to submit your documentation, or send it in by post to: Animation College, P.O. Box 7799, Wellesley Street, Auckland 1141, New Zealand.

Please note: if you have your documentation ready, you are welcome to bring it in with you to your interview.

After you are enrolled

Once you have been accepted into the course, and have submitted all your documentation, Animation College will be in contact to confirm details for the start of the course, stationery requirements, and any other information that you might need.

If you have any questions, we are always available to help, so stay in touch.
